The Clock was my favourite exhibition out of all of them that I saw during the trip because it was so different to what I usually would define as ‘art’. It kept changing scenes throughout the film, pulling in my attention then pushing me away again, leaving me frustrated because I wanted to continue watching the previous film clip. The film highlighted that we do actually focus so much on time, which is scary because, even though it’s a man-made element in our lives, time now controls us and everything that we do. If, for example, we are late to school, we become frustrated and annoyed and this shows that time also has an effect on our emotions. It was interesting to discover that point of view on time through this film, and I now view time from a different perspective.
